Asia Infrastructure Forum

AIF-KV-web.jpg

Asia Infrastructure Forum (AIF) 2026 convenes under the theme "Bold Actions for a Sustainable Asia" at a moment when the infrastructure conversation has fundamentally shifted. Sustainability is no longer primarily an environmental agenda—it now encompasses economic competitiveness, supply security, and climate resilience as integrated priorities.

Against this backdrop, AIF 2026 brings together senior government officials, institutional investors, developers, financiers, industry leaders, and practitioners to move beyond incremental progress towards transformative action. The forum aims to mobilise capital, strengthen knowledge exchange, and forge strategic partnerships that can accelerate project delivery and close infrastructure gaps constraining Asia's long-term growth and resilience.

As one of the premier global platforms, the biennial Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) gathers thought leaders, experts and practitioners from governments, cities, utilities, and industry to share knowledge and best practices on innovative water, coastal and flood solutions, and foster partnerships to tackle urban water and associated climate challenges.

Organised by Singapore International Water Week Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, the 11th edition of SIWW will take place from 15 to 18 June 2026 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.SIWW2026 will be held in conjunction with the World Cities Summit (WCS), which runs from 14 to 16 June 2026 at Suntec City Convention Centre.

SIWW2026 is expected to welcome close to 2,500 delegates and over 25,000 trade visitors. This year’s SIWW will focus on the triple key themes of municipal water solutions, coastal and flood resilience, and industrial water solutions, which reflect the key challenges faced by water utilities, agencies, cities, regulators, and industrial water users globally. In particular, the coastal and flood resilience theme seeks to showcase innovative approaches in policy interventions, regulations, technological solutions, flood management operations, and social resilience that are required for cities to adapt to the profound impacts of more frequent and intense storm surges.

SIWW2026 will be delivering a series of thought leadership summits, workshops and technical sessions on climate resilient cities, flood management, and coastal protection, as part of the thematic tracks of the 2026 World Cities Summit.

WCS delegates can enjoy 10% off an SIWW2026 Full Delegate Pass, which provides access to the full SIWW2026 programme. Click here to register.

WCS delegates may also register for a complimentary Trade Visitor Pass to the SIWW2026 Water Expo, the pre-eminent marketplace for the latest urban water technologies, innovation, and solutions. International Urban and Regional Cooperation (IURC) Regional Thematic Workshop

16 Jun 2026, Tuesday, 9.00am to 12.30pm
Room 310 and 311, Level 3, Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre

The IURC Asia and Australasia programme is pleased to announce its upcoming Thematic Regional Workshop at the World Cities Summit (WCS), taking place in Singapore from 14–16 June 2026. Held alongside one of the world’s leading events for urban innovation and policy dialogue, this high-level workshop will convene city representatives, regional authorities, and international experts to exchange best practices and strengthen interregional cooperation.

The IURC regional workshop is a follow-up to the IURC global event held at the Barcelona Smart Cities Expo World Congress in November 2025. It will consolidate selected Communities of Practice implemented since December 2025 and support cities and regions in gathering more ideas and inspiration to scale pilot project activities stipulated in their UCAPs and RCAPs.

The IURC programme will focus on advancing sustainable urban development, fostering green and digital transitions, and building resilient, inclusive cities through peer learning and strategic partnerships. IURC’s participation as a Strategic Partner at WCS 2026 will assist the EU-AA- cities and regional governments in generating greater visibility of their cooperation at a global level, both at the IURC associated event and at the main WCS sessions.

The workshop will provide a valuable opportunity for participating cities to deepen collaboration, showcase successful initiatives, and contribute to shaping future joint actions under the IURC framework.

If you are an IURC pilot city/region interested in attending, don't hesitate to get in touch with your IURC CoP manager or the project team at info@iurc.eu.
